A female patient with painful abdominal lump- torsion of wandering spleen

We present a 65 year old female patient presented with acute onset of severe left sided abdominal pain associated tender intra-abdominal lump over the flank. An ultrasonography revealed an ectopic spleen in flank and CE-CT scan abdomen confirmed wandering torsion vascular pedicle at hilum. She underwent splenectomy. Wandering is uncommon clinical entity. Review literature was made on different presentations, diagnostic evaluation, treatment options, outcomes patients discussed this case report.
